GLASSY MOUNTAIN RETREAT AND BED & BREAKFAST

We are located in Pickens in the NW corner of beautiful South Carolina just outside of the Smoky Mt. National Forest within a short distance from Knoxville, TN, Athens and Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, and Columbia and Charleston SC
We have several accommodations­ to fit anyone. We have several rooms, cabins, and RVs to choose from and we have RV sites for you to bring your own.

Our HONEYMOON SUITE with private entrance comes with a full kitchen with side by side fridge, breakfast nook and island, 55inch flat screen TV with satellite, and two tiered deck with sunken hot tub overlooking the mountains Complimentary­ breakfast is included.

Upper rooms are:
THE EQUESTRIAN ROOM : Queen size bed with mini fridge, breakfast and flat screen TV with Satellite.

THE MOUNTAIN VIEW ROOM: king size bed upstairs(adjoin­ by balcony) to THE COUNTRYSIDE ROOM : which also has a king size bed they both overlook the beachy area with white sand, palm trees and the 40x60 in ground pool with breathtaking­ views of the mountains! With a mini fridge, Flat Screen TV with Satellite(premie­r package) and Larger one has a fireplace.

MOUNTAIN BED AND BREAKFAST: has two dining rooms, 4 fireplaces, large great room. It is cedar and stone exterior.

ALSO OFFERING VACATION HOME RENTAL THAT SLEEPS FOURTEEN. WITH ALL HIGH END ACCOMMODATIONS!­

CABINS are Bunkhouse style. They have full kitchens and are fully furnished. Dishes. linens and towels, toaster, coffee maker, elect. can opener, microwaves etc. All you need to bring is your clothes and food. FOR A LIMITED TIME OUR CABINS ARE ONLY $50 ON TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY. ALSO, GUESTS WILL BE ABLE TO PURCHASE A BBQ RIB DINNER ON WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR ONLY $10. THIS OFFER MAY BE DISCONTINUED­ AT ANY TIME SO CALL FOR AVAILABILITY.­

RV’s are 28-42 feet long and have 1 to 2 slide outs; this makes them wider and more spacious. They all have full front decks that overlook the mountains and the ponds.

There are two RV hook-ups for self contained 30 amp RV’s (campers). They are $50.00 per night on weekdays and $75.00 on weekends.

We offer boarding for Horses/dogs/cats­. Pets are welcome, but there is a $20 per night pet fee and they must be kept on a leash at all times.

We also have two fresh water spring-fed ponds for fishing. FISHING is free to guests and is catch and release only. SWIMMING is free to our guests. The pool is approx 40x60 in ground and has built in jacuzzi seats.

HORSEBACK RIDING is available to guests for $40.00 per hour for adults and a child’s ride follows for $20 per child. There are lessons available for $30.00 per hour. These rides are held in the evenings. We have 16 horses of assorted breeds. We have western and English tack.

NO SMOKING IN CABINS/RV's/­ B & B. Smoking is allowed outside.
