Overtone is currently seeking qualified regional managers to oversee and manage A Fight for Fame Concert series in various markets across the continental United States.
This is a part-time, contract position
RESPONSIBILITES­ INCLUDE:
1. Secure venue (scout possible venues for event and negotiate concert dates)
2. Recruit bands (market event to bands locally via myspace, radio, print etc)
3. Promote & Market event (informing general public of event via street team etc)
4. Manage and oversee execution of event (checking in bands, running show etc)
5. Weekly training meetings with our National Event Director who will walk you step by step through the AFFF process to ensure a successful event.

A Fight for Fame is a National Music Competition established in 2004. We have carried out over 500 concerts, worked with 1,000’s of bands, and entertained thousands. A Fight for Fame serves to represent the talented, yet unsung musicians in your local community. Our goal is simple; to provide a stage of opportunity for deserving, hardworking,­ passionate, musicians. We seek to find the best band, solo act, hip hop group that your city has to offer, and take their music career to the next level by offering expensive or otherwise unattainable­ resources that are vital to a band’s success.

Our philosophy of "by musicians for musicians"­ is deeply founded in our history. This event is structured to serve the needs of independent bands that are ready to expand their career beyond the gates of their back yard.
We are currently in 15 cities and are looking to expand into new territories,­ with your help.
We are looking for resourceful individuals who would like to be a part of a long term project and take ownership of executing our events in your city.
