1926 Gillette TUCKAWAY Safety Razor and CASE

This vintage Gillette Tuckway Razor has a Jan. 13 1920 pat. date on the handle. It is a Model
102A/106, with the seriel number 657320B making this great collectible a 1926 Gillette Tuckaway.
The case lining is velvet and silk and is in good condition. The inside top of the case
has one very small wear mark in the fabric as can be seen in the pics. The case is beautiful and
in very good condition on the outside, with no dents.

The razor is clean and shiny, when I used a magnifing glass to read the pat. date I found a
very very slight hair line crack in the handle about 1/2 inch long, it is barely noticeable. The
small metal case for blades is in very good condition.

The outer case is in very good condition and is clean and shiny with a working clasp.
It has a few very faint buffing marks obviously done by a buffer moving in a circular motion that
can be seen but not felt and will come out with a light hand buffing, it is smooth to the touch
and is a great old collectible.­ The Razor measures 2 3/4" when screwed together. The handle
unscrews from the head so that it fits neatly into the case. The case measures 3" by 3" and
says "MADE IN U.S.A. Gillette KNOWN THE WORLD OVER TUCKAWAY"­ on the inside lid.
