About the Business:
My Name is Mary C. Flores. I have a beautiful son, 13 years old, and my husband.
Twelve years ago, I decided to obtain my DCFS license to open a home daycare to provide the highest quality childcare, through a combination of education, experience, a positive attitude and most importantly the love for children.

We offer English and Spanish Language and we believe in respecting any family culture and beliefs, giving them the opportunity to feel free to share or give any comments or ideas.

My home daycare is a safe and happy place where parents can trust and children can learn and grow physically, emotionally,­ intellectually­ and socially at their own pace with the positive guidance of adults.

We believe that each child is an individual with his own special interests and abilities, and children learn by doing what comes naturally through play!

Our Program Mission: is to assist and support working parents and their families. Specializing­ in the education of 6 weeks - 5 years old by providing an environment that is welcoming, secure, nurturing, educational and fun for their children.

Our Philosophy: Our Program gives each child the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities where they can gain new experiences that help them enrich their social, emotional, physical, language development and become a lifelong learners.

Our Curriculum: Our program is accredited by the National Association for Family Childcare and licensed by the State of Illinois. We use the Creative Curriculum; it focuses on social emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.­ The components of the curriculum are applied in different learning areas: art, library, discovery, sand and water, music and movement, blocks, dramatic play, and outdoors activities.

Staff: Our staff are educated in early childhood education and CPR and First Aid. We are experienced and caring individuals that love working with children and their families.

Nutrition: We provide nutritionally­ balanced meals and snacks for the well being of the children.

We offer Full Day, Half Day and Before and After School.

Our Goals: Provide an atmosphere that is appealing, secure, comfortable,­ friendly, and nurturing for children to learn and socialize.
Give affection, support, and trust to the families in the program.
Create a learning environment through play.
