Job Description
The Business Intelligence­ Manager is responsible for providing leadership and expertise SAP Business Warehouse and Business Objects. They will work directly with the BI team and is responsible for providing information,­ analysis and decision making tools to the Business and working with Business owners to promote the use of BI tools. The position will be hands-on in leading BI initiatives as well as manage internal and external resources necessary to execute and support approved BI initiatives.­ They will be required to increase the adoption of BI reporting and promote the use BW and Business Objects and drive standard, global reporting initiatives.­

Representative­ Duties:
• Develop strategies to enhance end-user experience and work with Business owners to promote use of BI tools to the end-user community.
• Provide BI solutions for reporting, analytics, dashboards, scorecards, data mining, and predictive analysis
• Develops BI Strategy and will work close with the management team to promote the adoption of BI tools.
• Supports the design, prototyping and implementation­ of BI tools in SAP (BW, BO, BI, etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of data modeling using DSOs, InfoCubes, and MultiProviders.­
• SAP BI (BW) experience should also include back-end administration­ via the administrator­ workbench, front-end tools such as the BEx suite, and in-depth knowledge of SAP BI best practices.
• Experience implementing­ the following modules in SAP BI (BW): FI, CO, PCA, HR, MM, PP, COPA, & SD.
• Mentor and develop direct reports, develop division of responsibilities­ and backups, prioritize efforts and manage priorities within the team, handle resource allocation across different efforts in BI,
• Serve as the liaison between Business and technical BI resources facilitating­ issue resolution.
• Identify and evaluate alternate technical solutions, providing recommendations­ in the use of new and existing technologies.­
• Defining a reporting delivery strategy based on different BI capabilities­
• Develop and drive BI policies, procedures and processes.
• Increase BI adoption and promote BI tools to business users
• Lead BI Initiatives
• Streamline and manage BI change management process
• Manages realization,­ test and documentation­ of change requests in SAP BI
• Supports the Development of training material, configuration­ and process documentations­ and organization­ of training courses

Requirements:­ (1 year of college is equivalent to 2 years of experience)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Formal SAP training in SAP Business Warehouse
• 5-10 years of experience with configuration­ of BI SAP applications­ (BW, APO, Enterprise Portal) and basic understanding­ of related SAP ECC modules
• Superb Experience within with BEx, Query Designer and Business Objects reporting tools
• Experience in leading global BI Initiatives and best practice
• Experience in project management using ASAP Methodology
• People Management experience
• Excellent communication­ and organizational­ skills
• Ability to become customer’s business partner
• Strong customer service skills and focus
