1948-1950 Gillette Aristocrat w Case and Blades

1948-1950 Vintage Gillette Aristocrat Cased Safety Razor Set. The razor shows
extremely minimal plate loss, there are no dings or scratches what so ever. The razor
is in excellent vintage condition, it appears to never have been used. The razor
comes in the the original box which has a small bit of wear to the outside of the case
that can be seen in the pictures.

The inside of the case is in very good+ vintage condition, with no rips or fabric
loss. Included is a dispenser of New Old Stock Gillette Blue Blades. The head and
handle are bright and shiney, the butterfly doors open and close smoothly. This is a
great razor for a collection or daily use. A stunning antique Gillette gold plated
razor!

HISTORY:
Spanning approximately­ 70 years, the Aristocrat name plate was the longest running of
the Gillette line of DE razors and, in my opinion, was their flagship razor. True,
more upscale and pricier sets were made, but only for short periods of time, while the
Aristocrat enjoyed fairly steady production until a decade long break from 1951 to
1961. This appears to have been a very popular razor in its time.
