Silver Star Feather Weight Razor MINT Condition Original Blades
RICHARDS RAZORS; MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN'T REFUSE!

The razor is Very 'Rare' and in MINT condition. Every piece of this razor
shines, as if it were new, the etching on the outside of the top blade plate
is clearly visible with no ware whatsoever. This is a rare find to get
one in this condition with the box of 5 unused blades. The Silver Star
blades were the ultrapremium­ razor blade of the time, from 1947-57 (phased
out be the early 60's). They were made by the American Safety Razor Co.,
apparently some time during the 1940's.

This razor is designed very similar to the Gillette Tech, but has a
slightly different blade centering design. Instead of the single track with
central pole, this razor uses a three pole design, with "fins"­ off the outer
poles. This keeps the blade perfectly aligned. It is a rather good design
and keeps the blade from moving around during closure. The shave is somewhat
mild like a Tech. This great find would make a great addition to any
