Vintage Stevens 66B Buckhorn 22 Caliber Rifle |
| $65 For sale J. Stevens Arms Company 66-B “Buckhorn” bolt action single shot rifle in 22 caliber. Good starting rifle for a young person. Chambered for 22 short, long and long rifle. Believe to have been manufactured in the 1930s or 40s. Overall Condition is good. Functions fine, barrel is bright and shiny with no pitting or rust, rifling is good. Metal parts still have bluing but there is light rusting in areas. Stock has some scratches and nicks. Tubular magazine holds 15 rounds. Rear peep/aperture sight is removable. The rifle is missing the inner spring loaded magazine tube. This can be purchased from www.e-gunparts.com for $26.20. Without the magazine tube you need to feed each round by hand.
