My name is Erik Graham and I am a Sales Representative for Green Lite PCs ( http://www.greenlitepc.com ). After 6 months and many machines already in use in many different applications, we are confident in the design. The goal was to drastically reduce the amount of electricity that is being consumed by the average PC, and we've obtained it. Through extensive research, with a few different measuring tools for accuracy, Our GreenLite computer system runs at 27 - 31W peak ( Half of a "low powered" filament light bulb ). An average desktop computer consumes about 300W, so you can see our computer runs at about 10% of the energy of an average desktop, with the same performance levels. The base model, the GreenLite PC, customers are using as Internet Cafe machines, Point of Sales Machines, home (mom and dad, everyday browse the web and watch youtube) PCs. We tested these systems for 4 months before selling a single one, developing large training presentations and technical manuals and we are very impressed with its performance and ratings. There is also a high end model ( HEDP ) that my customers have told me they have NOT been able to slow down which draws 108W idle - 132W peak. This is a machine that I've sold to people who are streaming HD video, designing graphics, 3d modeling/engineering running it as back office servers, and PC gamers.
