Attention Please read: I am in my mid 50's and life has kicked my butt. MY whole life I have helped people. The last lady I gave $1,200 to , so her and her kids could pay the rent and have a Christmas. The second month we lent her the rent money. Three years later she still owes us $300. While my wife and I miss some dinners because we don't have enuff. She won't pay the $300 back. We gave up chasing her. My last $3,000 was taken by a so called "Christen gentlemen" who swore with hand to heaven that the RV I was buying only needed cosmetic work. Well it didn't, the whole wooden frame was rotten. I figured it was better then sleeping on a street or in our car. My wife and I have lost our home and land to crooked & greedy bankers. We are are about to move into the RV with our little dog. And out of all the people we helped through the years, no one is any where to be found to help us. Some don't even return my phone calls. I don't take hand outs, I just wanted the money owed to me, for food. Well live and learn huh. Now to the meat of this sob story. My biggest dream was not fancy cars or flashy clothes or Casinos. Nope it was just to sail my own sailboat around the world. But I raised my kids like a man is supposed to do. I've worked hard my whole life starting at 13 years old. All my kids are grown with kids of there own now. Now that I am in my 50's and I am to sick to sail the world. But my love of sailing is still there. I see all the time people donating there sailboats because they can't sell them. If any one out there has a heart give me your boat. I can do some work but I don't have a lot of money. And very soon I won't have a place to work on it either. I just want to cruise coastal. OR the big loop on the I.C.W. I will take any livaboard in decent condition. Please at lest 30 feet. Sailboat-Houseboat or? . Anything safe, that my wife and I can call home. If you do this generous act, just as soon as I sell the RV, we will give the money to you. (Probably around $5,000.) Thanks for reading an old farts sob story. Give me a chance please, I won't let you down. Like I said I am not asking for a hand out just a break.
