Charity fundraiser for Innocent Women

Listing details Print version
JustCause is an advocacy network dedicated to working with wrongfully accused women who have found themselves ensnared in the unrelenting clutches of the United States Criminal Justice System. We are seeking an individual with excellent communications skills and the enthusiasm to drum up support.

As a charity fundraiser, your remit is to increase the contributions of individuals and groups by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities from various sources.

You'll need to be able to network to raise awareness of THE FACTOR OF DNA EVIDENCE--THE VERY BREAKTHROUGH THAT LAUNCHED THE INNOCENCE MOVEMENT A QUARTER CENTURY AGO MAKES FEMALE CLIENTS MORE DIFFICULT TO EXONERATE.

Responsibilities:

Motivate and facilitate supporters to maximize the funds they donate.
Inspire supporters to raise money by developing new and imaginative fundraising activities.
Organize traditional activities, develop and coordinate web-based fundraising.
Recruit, organize and manage volunteers to carry out various functions within the charity

We are looking for someone who has an understanding of the flaws of our criminal justice system and wants to help women who are currently fighting for their lives. Experience in marketing, media or business is helpful but all backgrounds are welcomed to be apart of the movement to free wrongfully convicted women.

Expectation:

A Charity Fundraiser will be compensated weekly (Friday) as an independent contractor at a rate of 50% of funds raised that week. A Charity Fundraiser will be based at home with the expectation to be out meeting supporters for a significant portion of the time.
